I wanted to share with you this panoramic image I took during my Spring Smokies Workshop. It was 15 vertical images taken with my Canon 5D Mk II and Tamron 70-200mm F/2.8 DI VC USD Lens.
I stitched the images together using the "merge to panorama" option in Photoshop CC. I then did the black and white conversion using Nik's Silver Efex Pro 2.
The fog in Cades Cove that morning was fantastic and it added that extra element that allowed my group to create images that were more interesting than normal. In fact, we spent several minutes photographing the tree on the far right of this scene. We got several great shots before the fog eventually burned off.
The camera settings for this were F/16, ISO 100 @ 1/50th second.
